I was out with my 2 year old son on a walk and we saw a duck nesting eggs. My son thought it would be a good idea to throw a bite of his apple to the duck and the duck took the apple and flew away to eat it. We checked 3 hours later and the mother has still not arrived... I feel horrible.. Could the duck have smelled human on the apple pieces and now rejected the 10 egg nest. What am I to do... I feel like a murderer..:(
