Can you get an ultrasound at 5 weeks? I have an appointment on Monday

You won’t see much. Maybe just a small gestational sac. Most Obs won’t do one until 7 weeks

I personally will be waiting until I’m 12 weeks or far enough along to do an on the tummy ultrasound. I had a miscarriage the day right after my first ultrasound at 7 weeks in September and after some research, early transvaginal ultrasounds aren’t 100% safe. This is just what happened to me and I know many early ultrasounds are necessary and usually everything is fine, but for me, i won’t be having another transvaginal ultrasound ever again.

they don't like to normally because you can't tell much and it could be missed as a miscarriage

I had one with the twins at 5 weeks and 5 days. Strong heartbeat on both ♥️❤️ they are my shooting stars now 💫

My doctor is doing mine at 5 weeks 3 days, he said something about the HCG level has be at least 3,000 to see something on the ultrasound, but as far as heartbeat and stuff like that I doubt you will see
