12 month milk transitioning?

Hello . My son will be one this May on the 25! I was wondering how any other moms transition there one year old off formula!? How should I start? My baby eats everything I eat all day , everyday! He has all 7/8 teeth’s. loves adult food! I give him water and sometimes natural juices. But I want to start transitioning him off of formula. Any advice y’all can give me. Thanks In advance.

Same bday for my twins too! So fun! Def anticipating this switch as I know theyll be pissed - they love their bottles. Theyve always been a bit behind tho.

my son has the same birthday and will also be 1.  what I did was I started him on 6oz of formula and 2 ounces of regular milk once he turned 11 months.  and then after I see how he does with that I'll go to 4 oz formula and and 4 oz milk and so on.

I switched to cows milk for night time feedings. So that my daughter would get used to the homogenized milk without really noticing she was even having it ! From 7am until 10pm she was still given bottles of her regular good start formula and anything past that (10pm- 7am before resetting back) she was having bottles of actual milk. This is usually 2 but sometimes 3 feedings during that chunk of time. Did that at nights for a week straight to see how she tolerated it , tummy wise. And then made the full switch following that. Every bottle is now milk instead of formula.

My LO will be 1 on the 19th. We started transitioning the past few weeks. She drinks 4 bottles a day still so I started with one bottle mixed half and half, and run that for 3 days. Then, I added in another till they’re all half and half. And then start doing one whole bottle of milk, and repeat till they’re all just whole milk. Did it this way with my first and she did well, and this baby is taking just fine too it also.

My daughters is the 24th! I’m in the same boat but breastfeeding so I have no clue how we will make the transition 😭
