Pregnant?

I had sex April 27 and my period is now two days late I took a test yesterday and it was negative, could I be pregnant and it was just to soon to take one? My period is never late.

If your period is late, you could not have gotten pregnant on the 27th. It is possible that you ovulated late and could then have conceived on the 27th. If that is the case then, you're only 7 DPO. Which would be way too soon to know if you're pregnant or not. Wait another week if AF doesn't show and take a pregnancy test.
