My mom and I went to Louisiana one year for a vacation and we went to some swamp place that had alligators on display and the signs clearly said “don’t feed or get to close to the alligators” what did my mom do? Gave them peanut butter crackers and got chased. She got chased by 2 alligators and if that isn’t the most Louisiana tourist story idk what is😂

I live in south-east Queensland so crocodiles are only a problem if I head up north or fall into an enclosure at a zoo. I'm not an avid surfer or scuba diver so I've never seen a great white in person. Most of Australia isn't crawling with danger like people seem to think. The basic rule of thumb, leave it alone and it’ll leave you alone. 
Don't take your eyes off of it or turn your back. Get out of the water as fast as possible with minimal splashing. If it's a crocodile, leave slowly, if it snaps/runs at you, run away, you'll probably outrun it. If it's a shark and it’s being aggressive, act aggressively back and try to scare it off. If it attacks you, go for the eyes and gills if it's a shark. 
People dive with great whites in and out of cages though. I'd feel better in the water with them than a crocodile.

I'm yes!! And it was terrifying, my dingy boat 🚣 has been circled by a great white shark in Margaret River, WA and a TIGER SHARK 🦈 swam up to a group of us mum's giving out children swimming lessons, i think we all RAN ON WATER 💦 that day, I had to throw my daughter into the surf 🏄 which took her to shore where she spluttered up some water, but it got her to land, then i swam for my life!! Everyone got out of the water safely and then we all watched from the shore the TIGER SHARK 🦈 'nose' the nearby coral reef, looking for food. Every year someone dies from a shark 🦈 attack in my area EVERY YEAR, in Cottesloe WA. We see farm morrrrre SNAKES 🐍 than sharks, last year I found a nest and baby snakes 🐍 in my backyard... MAMMA SNAKE 🐍 is always nearby her babies, so I ran for my life... back into the house, and then called the snake / reptile HANDLER, he said they were DUGITE SNAKES 🐍 deadly poisonous but there is an anti-venom injection you can have to prevent death but only if you get to it within the first hour after being bitten. My boyfriend works at ARGYLE DIAMOND MINESITE, in Argyle WA and the other day he and some other men were having a break from mining underground, they got some food and heading to sit on a log and soak up the sun ☀️ rays (underground miners can easily become iron deficient if they don't see the sunlight enough), just before they were all about to sit down on the log, it MOVED, the log moved... ARGH it was a CROCODILE!!! Everyone ran for their lives... and the CROC just 'slowly' moved along... back into the water, and seemed more annoyed than anything, OMG!
