I don’t think pulled muscles swell and it’s also your ankle, which is bone

Honestly none of us could tell you if it's a sprain or not. It could also have a small fracture. How bad is the pain? Can you walk on it? Put full weight on it. Might want to consider going to your Dr or a dr on duty tomorrow to get an xray just in case. Sprains will take a long time to heal 6-8 weeks. Breaks 4ish week. For now elevate and ice and ibuprofen for pain. good luck!

I’d say sprain. It happened to me 2 years ago. But mine was more bruised up and swollen like yours. I’d still go to the ER. I did

Looks like a sprain. 
Keep it elevated & you can put an ice pack on it for 20 minutes & then 20 minutes without one. 
Also, you can take some anti inflammatory medicine. :) 
If you’re gonna walk on it though, have it wrapped up in an ace bandage wrap.
