So found out a month I was pregnant for the first time after my husband and I started trying in December. So excited. I even broke the news to my husband by wrapping the positive test sticks in a gift bag and having our dog deliver the news to him. All was looking good-my HCG levels came back at 6,000 at 4 weeks and my progesterone was 26. Then 12 days ago while at work I started bleeding bright red blood. Went to ER-HCG was at 13,000 and my embryo was visible on transvaginal ultrasound and was the correct size for 6 weeks. A heartbeat was detected at 88 bpm. The bleeding thankfully stopped, but went to my OB the next day and she checked my HCG levels again, which were at 22,000. She said they should be higher than that if I was at 6,000 at 4 weeks. Two days later they were up but only to 28,000. Waited a week for another transvaginal ultrasound, which I had done yesterday at my doctors office. No heartbeat could be detected, and the embryo only measured at 6 weeks 3 days (I should be at 7 weeks now). They say I miscarried and want me to have a DNC this upcoming week. I was up all night crying, I am devastated, especially after seeing the baby's heartbeat over a week ago. Any support would be appreciated. Thanks😞
