My fiancé has asked me to cut all ties with my best friend. My best friend is a guy. I've known him for 20 years and we went all the way through school together. Our parents were best friends so we were together constantly. The reason my fiancé wants me to stop talking to him is because he was told by one of my friends that we slept together, which we did, years ago and it only happened once. Afterwards me and my best friend promised never to speak about it because it was one of the most awkward situations ever.

My fiancé is now super paranoid whenever we hang out together and says he is worried that it will happen again, even though I've reassured him that it is NEVER EVER going to happen and that I love him and wouldn't do anything to risk losing him.

What do you guys think because I'm stuck. Both guys mean the absolute world to me. 😩
