Annoying mother in law

God she’s so overbearing and always complaining that I’m rude to her son or torturing him.

He flicked a rubber band at me after I old him not to so I asked him “why he’s being a jerk” and then she jumps on my case telling me not to call him that in front of her.

Then he went to the basement and got a really heavy storage tub to show my son all of his legos from when he was a child. His mom told him not to go get it. So after he almost fell coming up the stairs I asked him if he needed help carrying them back down. He said no so when I heard him stumble down the stairs and almost drop the tub I laughed a little. Then she asked me if there’s ever a moment when I’m not mean to her son 🙄 like seriously. He’s been taunting me the whole time we’ve been here then when I say something I’m wrong
