How often should I take it out to clean it?

I got my belly button pierced two months ago. My piercer told me last week that it was healed enough to start taking it out and cleaning the jewelry, but he didn’t tell me how often I should do it. The last time I did it was Tuesday. Should I take it out and soak the jewelry again today or wait?

I have had my belly button pierced for 10 years and I never take it out to clean it regularly unless I am changing to a different belly ring

Don’t take the jewelry out until at least 6 months. Navel piercings take 6 months to a year to fully heal. They heal from the outside in so even if it looks healed at 2 months it not on the inside, just do sea salt soaks to clean the jewelry and piercing

yeah i didnt take mine out for 6 months then when i do clean it i just wash the jewelry with antibacterial soap and wipe the hole with a warm, clean rag. ive had mine for 3 years now.
