shallow latch
my baby is 6 days old and eats well but i think she is doing something called a “shallow latch” - when she is sucking it is really painful, my nipples are cracked and bleed, and i get sharp pains deep in my chest whenever she starts :(
i try to “make a sandwich” but she spits it out unless i let her just suck the nipple so i don’t know what to do. any advice? it hurts so bad i have to bite my lip to stop from crying
