I need some help on this matter as quick as possible please. My mother is abusive and I had moved out of that house to go live with a friend and her family a few months ago. However, I now have no idea how to deal with things such as mothers day. I am terrified of going and I am pretty sure it'll just send my recovery back a few steps. But if I don't go, it could hurt my siblings and father as well, plus I'm not sure how I'd be able to celebrate fathers day if I dont mothers day (no one really believes how bad she was because shes a manipulator) so I have no idea what my best move would be...
