I went shopping for my wedding dress this past weekend with my mother, sister, and grandmother. The entire time i was trying dresses my mom and grandma’s first comment of EVERY dress would be “that’ll look great when you lose 10-15 pounds” among other rude comments. It really ruined the day and made me feel horrible about myself. And THEN my sister (who is also engaged) decided she wanted to try on dresses on my bridal shopping trip and of course since she is tiny my mom and grandma just doted all over her and said everything was perfect and gorgeous etc.

Needless to say i feel like because I’m overweight i can’t be a stunning bride! I know I’m supposed to say fuck them and not worry but i can’t help it. 😔
