10 months preggo?

So I’ve been thinking and randomly remembered that pregnancy usually lasts for 40weeks.. 9x4 is 36 (9x4weeks) , and there is still 4weeks missing to 40weeks which is a whole month, so therefor, pregnancy lasts for 10 months not 9.. or am I wrong? 🤷‍♀️

no your right. and for everyone on here that's about to say, "a month isn't 4 weeks, it's 4.35." Gestation IS measured in lunar months (4 weeks), it's been measures like that for centuries. your pregnant for a full 9 months. Which would be the beginning of 10 months.

But months don’t have 4 weeks (except Feb)... one year is 52 weeks. If months were all 4 weeks long then a year would only be 48 weeks (12x4=48). Months have about 4.3 weeks (52/12). So you’re pregnant about 9.5 months. But remember, you’re not actually pregnant the first 2 weeks, since gestational age is counted from the first day of your last period.

its last about 9 and half months sometimes 10 but it also depends on the person and the baby.
