Feeling Salty

Back when I first found out I was pregnant, I calculated my EDD based off my LMP. I was fairly confident about it because my cycles were always like clockwork and I knew exactly when I conceived (We don't have sex all that often, tbh) When I went in for the dating scan, midwife adjusted my EDD by a week and that's what we've been going off of ever since. Now here I am at 39.4 and I went in for my 39 week appointment this morning. Midwife did a cervical check (closed and still very high) and we discussed symptoms (Braxton Hicks very rarely) and at the end and says, "Well I'm not a betting woman but I would say you've still got 1-2 weeks left." And I was like, HMMM, so you mean around the 17th? The date I originally calculated that I was told was wrong. Fancy that. Obviously I know it's all an estimate and babies come when they are ready. But I couldn't help but feel a little salty about the whole thing.
