Positive opk 5 days before my period?

This is my 3 month ttc and It was taken me a while to understand how the opk work ect and yesterday and today I have been having opk but I have a 35 day cycle and I’m positive I ain’t ovulating this close to my period right could this be a possible early detection on pregnancy hormone thanks.

I did an ovulation test after a missed period because many pregnancy tests were negative. 
The day I did the ovulation test, it was positive which confused me. I went to the doctors that day because I thought I had a problem down there, she did a routine pregnancy test and I said I wouldn’t be pregnant because I was ovulating..
A faint line came up! I was so shocked! 
She’s now a healthy 21 month old. 💕

It could be... it could also be that your body geared up to ovulate earlier in cycle, and didn’t. If this is the case it’ll push your period back. There can also be a surge of LH close to period some have said. So could be any of those things. But it’s likely if detecting pregnancy, a sensitive HCG test strip would be positive too.

following. similar situation, I did opks from cd 11 to 21 and didnt get positive til 21. my cycles are average of 29-30 days. I'm now cd 25 and got a dark opk. I thought lh would have gone down by now at 4dpo? gonna test again in the morning. prayers for you! here's a pick top is cd 20, middle is 21 (my peak, it was much darker before it dried) and bottom is today cd 25. confused
