Nexaplon & bruising

Hey guys!

So I recently went to the doctor because of a yeast infection and ended up coming out with the implant 😂

I always thought the implant was such a great birth control method but I never realized my insurance would cover the cost.

So as soon as the nurse told me about it I decided to get it on the spot (since me and my boyfriend would always be reckless and not use condoms even though that always made me worry about getting pregnant).

So I texted my boyfriend and got ready for the procedure.

Well, long story short I got it along with some yeast infection medication. Everything was all fun and games until I woke up the morning after with the swelling and bruising

And man I swear I can feel that lil rod move inside me and the idea of having it be under my skin suddenly made me uneasy.

Still, I’m pretty excited about finally leaving the stress life behind in regards to chances of getting pregnant.

I’m just wondering though, if the bruising was to get worse should I worry? And what would be considered a red flag?
