So I’m currently due in 4 days May 13th. However for the last 2 months my adjusted due date was April 25th due to baby’s size. Clearly that didn’t happen. I’m really starting to get worried now. I have not effaced at all and am still at less than a cm dilated. No contractions. Nothing. So frustrated. And doctor keeps freaking me out by telling me the baby is enormous but that he doesn’t think he’s going to arrive anytime soon. He won’t induce me either because I’m less than 3 cm dilated. What I want to know from those of you who have given birth before is, is it possible to go into labor with no dilation, loss of mucous plug or symptoms? I’m trying not to lose hope here but I’m getting scared.
