I don't feel my contractions? 🤔

Question

I had to have non-stress test yesterday due to high blood pressure. I'm 39 weeks 5 days. The nurse, after looking at the test results, says, "Are you feeling those contractions?" 😳 I was like, "um, what contractions?" She told me I was having pretty regular contractions. 🤔 I was just really confused because I didn't feel a thing besides the baby moving. Has this happened to anyone else?

Fetal movements can also register as contractions on the monitor.

Pre-labor contractions and active labor contractions feel totally different.

Yup! Last pregnancy that exact thing happened. I then didn’t know I was in labour until my waters broke and I had him 2hrs later to the minute! However once my waters broke BOY DID I FEEL THOSE CONTRACTIONS 😂. They are worried this time around I won’t make it to the hospital because I may not know again and have advised me to come in for any weird change even just a hunch lol. Best of luck to you! At 34 weeks I went in for a non stress test also and was having contractions 3-4 min apart and didn’t feel them. They told me it could be from something small like being hungry🤷🏽‍♀️
