I have a laparoscopy scheduled for next Monday. Today I saw the specialist surgeon. He did an ultrasound to get better prepared for the surgery. As he’s doing the scan he says that the cyst on my ovary is very small. I said, it doesn’t feel small to me! He explained that it’s because there’s probably Endo around it, that’s causing it to stick to other parts. He even showed me how the other ovary moves around while this one doesn’t and just hurts instead. THAT explains painful sex, discomfort when pooping, and so much pain for such a small cyst! Such an “ah ha moment”. Yes, it means that my Endo is worse than we anticipated, but at least now the pain makes sense!
