The theme of this years MET Gala was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. While looking at Facebook, people were upset (go figure) about this. However, the Vatican actually approved this theme. Donatella Versace, who helped run it this year, met with people at the Vatican to go over this. To my knowledge, there were actual pieces at the Gala this year. So here are some photos of the outfits worn. I chose a few different celebrities and different statements that were made.
