Absolutely freaking out.

What I first thought was a dead bug or two on my windowsill in my kitchen is actually mouse poop.

And upon forced inspection I found more. A lot more. All over my kitchen.

I think they came in my laundry room after the dog food that hubby didn’t put in the plastic container and when I later put in the container ( about 6 weeks later). The mice probably made way to the kitchen looking for other food.

Our house is older also so I’m sure that’s a factor

I keep a clean house. I went though my cabinets and got rid of anything partially open or put it in a plastic sealed container. I also deep cleaned my counter appliances.

I have a baby and dog so I will not do poisons and I think sticky traps are in humane. So I’ll be using snap traps and peanut butter.

Anyone have this happen or have any tips??
