Anyone get a sweep?

My last pregnancy I had a membrane sweep, went home and felt like shit. Bounced on my birthing ball. Cramps started, so I walked around my neighborhood to see if they would stop, they didn’t. 36 hours after my membrane sweep at 39+1 I was holding my baby girl.

I read a couple studies and it said that membrane sweeps reduce the length of pregnancy by an average of 4 days. So if you are close it will push you over the edge, but it doesn’t work immediately if your body isn’t ready.

I had mine done yesterday at 39+2 i was a good 1 cm 60% effaced and I've been having cramps and contractions ever since. Right now deciding if I'm going to go to work. I'm Very uncomfortable afraid something will happen at work 😔

I’ve had like 4 sweeps in the past two weeks they all did nothing.. I’m due tomorrow just had another sweep today so we’ll see 🤷🏼‍♀️

had one today at 11am around 3pm started having contractions about 5 mins apart been about the same for 5 hours now

Just had one today. 38+2 weeks. I was super crampy and tons of pressure for hours. Then it just stopped. Kind of disappointing!
