My boyfriend and I were talking about his daughters 4th birthday. I want to plan something for the end of May without him really knowing too much so he’s even surprised (his birthday is the day before his daughters). We have a pool, so I figured to have a little pool party. We’re probably just gonna have some snacks/drinks, a piñata, cake and then have her open up presents. I’m planning on inviting his side of the family since they’re her family as well, some of his friends since it’s his birthday as well and possibly inviting my mom, her boyfriend, my dad, his girlfriend & my sister. Do you think that a pool party is a good idea for a 4 year olds birthday party? She’s got little floaties and I’m hoping on buying her a unicorn pool float that she can sit on with her little legs through the holes, also she will never be unsupervised. I’m new to all of this parenting stuff and kinda wanna take the reigns on it myself and even surprise him.
