Is my belly ring infected?? Please help!

Hey guys sorry if this is gross.. I just got my belly piercing a week ago and I’m worried it’s infected. It doesn’t hurt. It’s not hot. And there’s no pus but it’s super red and gross.. is this normal?? Or is it infected please hellppo

It’s not infected.
Your ring is too tight and it wasn’t marked properly for piercing. That’s the fault of your piercer. 
It’s good to look for signs of infection. However a fresh piercing crusting or red is not a signifier of infection.
I’d advise against taking out the ring until you see the person who pierced you. Shit happens but if you take it out and then demand action odds are they will not assist you. 
To help with pain or swelling is put a cold compress on it to try to quell the swelling until you see your piercer. I’d advise to get in ASAP as your skin will grow over those balls. I’ve had to help someone who had this issue and it wasn’t painfree or pretty.

If you just got it done & have hit it at all it could just be irritated. I got mine done years ago & it looked like that for a few days & I kept mine very clean. The sea salt spray worked very good for me.

Lay on your back and fill your belly button with dealt and warm water for about 5-10 minutes everyday. I had the same issue and this not only healed the piercing but got rid of the infection.
