Toddler Soccer

So I need advice!! I signed up my 2 year old for soccer. The thing is this. The only teams were available were supposed to 2 1/2-4. However when we show up all the kids were 4 years no 2 1/2. My wild son didn’t want to sit and play with them he wanted to run around and play with 6 year old team. So we continued to putting him with his team and he didn’t last long before he tried to escape. He ended up having a tantrum and I had to leave 15 minutes earlier. I didn’t want to bother other parents with my child fit. Team for two year old won’t be available till July. So I need to know should I keep bringing him once a week and keep trying or call and cancel till July. Advice???
