Omg so my daughter won’t stop touching herself. After talking to people and reading things online I guess toddler masturbation is common and normal. I was unprepared for this!

She does it everywhere and I know you’re suppose to allow it if they’re in their room and all “private time” but how long does this phase go for? I don’t want her to think it’s acceptable to do this in public and when we have friends over... 🤭

What do I say to her? I don’t know what to do! Help!

👋🏻UPDATE: For those asking why I am calling it masturbation, it’s because that’s what it is. I have seen it both ways so I know the difference between exploring and actual masturbating (which is totally normal). I wrote this post looking for support and not to be judged. I do appreciate the help and advice from those who have actually been through this before.
