It is now 3:30 A.M, I have tried to get someone to cover my shift since 10:00 P.M. and could not. I just want to rant about how screwed up this is so be warned... My fiance has a hole in the right chamber of his heart and a leak in his aorta (please look over mispelling) . about 9 o'clock he was fine and himself but around 9:30 he became slugish and just tired. I thought it was where he worked all day and was ready for bed when i happened to look at his arm where his blood vessels looked like they were starting to sink in and turn almost black. I emidiantly started making phone calls knowing that something is wrong, my manager did not answer the phone, nor did the assistant manager. so I call the district manager all the while waiting tables and doing my job he answers and says. fined someone to cover your shift. I cant help but think, really. im trying...... so it will a whole 9 hours after i been trying to get him to the er when ill be able to get him there..... thanks work.
