Suspicious??

Alright, so I am a tiny bit worried my husband is up to something. Now, he say’s he is ordering me a gift and to not check his messenger. I only look at his messenger because he logged into it on my phone once and now I get notifications when he receives messages and I open it to make them go away. I don’t read his stuff. He knows this so it immediately sounded odd because he knows I don’t read them. I then asked him why the gift would be ordered on messenger and he tells me that he is ordering it through his ex! He knows I don’t like her and I don’t appreciate them talking because she has tried to ruin our relationship twice. I just find this so odd. Does it sound suspicious to you? Or am I being paranoid?
