Positive??

Just got my blood work done and I’m confused! Of why it says positive a and the negative on the other side! My dr still hasn’t called to explain and the waiting is killing me! Help!!

girl your pregnant.. on blood reports they must state the normal range or responses such as positive or negative. normal pregnancy is negative as a pregnancy causes a change... hope that makes sense.. congrats !!!!

Normal is the reference. Normally with no pregnancy it should be negative. I don’t know why there’s an A but the test you did is positive for HCG

I’m thinking A positive is your blood type and the hcg test was negative but I could be wrong.

It means positive. The negative is the “normal” the normal part of the test. If that makes sense.
