Just wanting to spread some hope..

Hi there. I am posting to give others hope on their TTC journey.

I am 25 yo, 5’ 6’’, TTC for a year, diagnosed with PCOS this past January. I was 137 lbs, so very average. I worked out 3 times a week, mainly cardio, ate moderately well, but loved a good dessert. Irregular periods, anovulatory cycles. But I wanted to be active in my TTC journey, so I decided to change my lifestyle.

Let me start by saying nothing I did was world record breaking or even something to boast about. I was just consistent, every week, every meal.

I began lifting weights 5x a week for 20 mins. Each day I picked a new body part, and by the end of the week I had a full body workout. I did 30 mins of cardio 3x a week. I chose running. Again, nothing impressive.

Obviously eating healthy was the hardest part. I REFUSE to diet. I decided to only eat healthy things, that I knew where they came from. If a company made it, I wasn’t eating it. (Only broke this rule a few times in four months).

My diet was mainly nuts and seeds, fruit and veggies, dairy, meat, quinoa, eggs, water and coffee.

Now it’s May. I went back to my fertility specialist, he said my PCOS was now considered minimal and not affecting my ability to get pregnant. My periods went from 63 day cycles to 32 days. I weighed myself today 128.8 lbs.

I guess my point is that there is a way to change your outcome. Do your part in your TTC journey.

Baby dust to all.
