Our baby is 3 weeks old. I'm getting concerned because my husband and I have very different opinions about baby crying. When he cries, I will get him right away and comfort him. My husband will not do that, he lets the baby cry even if I ask him to please get up and comfort him. Usually I will end up getting up because he just seems not to care and will only get baby when convenient to him. He thinks and says I'm 'spoiling the baby' and I say that baby is only three weeks old and learning to live in the outside world. We aren't creating bad habits, we are meeting his needs and development. And I should also clarify that our baby RARELY cries or fusses! Is anyone else struggling with this disconnect when your spouse or SO? Have you found good articles or have any advice? Or am I just struggling with postpartum?
