My UnExpected home birth 😮😍

De

I thought i should share and let everyone know that's pregnant or ttc to always prepare yourself for a unexpected birth!

On Nov 2 2017 3am i woke up with light contractions which i thought was braxton hicks contractions since I wasn't due until November 25 the contractions wasn't that strong so I decided to just go back to sleep. I woke up 20 mins later and and thought I should time my contractions, but eventually went back to sleep, when 5am approached that's when I knew something wasn't right i decided to get up and get washed and dressed, as soon as I stepped out the shower my water broke and that's when my contractions got so strong. I told my boyfriend to called the ambulance while I put my clothes on, then I felt like I had to push, I yelled to my boyfriend i am not gonna make it the baby is coming now!! so I got in the squat position and I pushed 5 times while screaming and I felt my baby head, then I pushed 2 more times then his whole body came out, my boyfriend was nervous but he caught my baby and passed him up to my chest and I started to suck the blood and fluid from his mouth and nose making sure he didn't chock, since the umbilical cord and placenta was still not delivered the ambulance arrived 2 mins later and cut the umbilical cord and I delivered the placenta at the hospital. I was so happy I prepared myself for the

unexpected and everyone at the hospital was so shocked I delivered my own baby. My baby liam spent 2 days in nicu but when he got out he was healthy and happy.

*update*

liam spent time in nicu he had jaundice, Newborn jaundice is when your baby's skin and the white parts of his eyes look yellow. It's caused by the build-up of a substance in the blood called bilirubin. Newborn jaundice is very common—about 3 in 5 babies (60 percent) have jaundice.
