How much time around other kids do you think a 1 year old should have?

I’m a SAHM of one and I’m struggling to find activities with other kids and babies in the area.  How time do you think they should have with other kids a week?

Here is our local story time, Thanks to the library and some of the crafts and events they host I have met other SAHM and learned of activities happening near me. Also facebook events near me always has family or kid friendly activities  happening in our community.  Although the activities are great for kids because they interact, learn, & share it’s more so for the adults helping at to keep their sanity. I try to do 2 activities a week.
Last week for example we went to a pet farm as a family($5 per person) , story time (free), and one of the cinco de mayo craft activities at the library (free)

Back then I tried to have at least one play date a week for my son. I used meetup.com and found a group of moms with kids all born around the same time as my son. They organized a meeting pretty much every week. And I always tried to look for other options too. Like going to kids events or indoor playgrounds or the park etc

You can look up story time at your  local library. They usually have it divided by age groups. My neighborhood has a mommy group that we formed thanks to Nextdoor and we do playdates at least once a month. During the week we have a couple of kid gyms that offer open play for $7-10 for 1 to 1.5 hours, I usually take my son once a month. You can also check out local farms near you, they sometimes have activities for kids. Around here they offer story time, produce picking (by weight). We also have groups here that go to the local free zoo. I would check out activities in your community focused on kids and aim for 1-2 times a week. It helps you get out, because SAHM can be very lonely. It helped me keep my sanity and have adult conversations.
