Hospital bag??

Hey y’all! 😊 I am a FTM and getting close to my due date. What are must have essentials for the hospital bag? For me, husband & baby? Also did you bring clothes to wear or just stayed in your gown?

I stayed in the hospital gown the entire time.
I brought a ton of stuff I had read online that was recommended for hospital bags. I didn’t use hardly any of it!
A going home outfit for you and baby (few sizes for baby just in case), and Dad if he’s staying and wants to change. 
Chapstick, phone charger, toothbrush/paste, comb, hair ties, travel deodorant.. I think that’s all I used. Oh and my glasses and contacts. 
Keep it simple.

I absolutely brought my own clothes! haha I wasn’t going to sit in a gown for two days. I was in my jeans and a loose top a couple hours after giving birth. I also brought makeup, my shower essentials, clothes for baby, an extra long cord for my phone, my MacBook, healthy snacks, my pillow, etc. I was suuuuper basic. Whatever I would normally pack for a weekend away is what I packed for my hospital stay.

I brought a light weight robe, totally used for breast feeding instead of the weird hospital one. my own pillow. toothbrush, soap. slip on shoes.... those are the only things that I LITERALLY needed.
