Getting induced...any tips?

Getting induced at 38.5 weeks for baby being to small. 9th percentile. Any tips to help the process along or deal with it?

My induction was no problem. Once they break your water, things start to really happen. I wasn’t nauseous with either of my deliveries, and had pitocin both times. Get the epidural whenever you’re ready... no need to wait.

Don’t stress ❤️ my induction was easier than my first born when I went into labor naturally. I’m having another induction this time, and I’m honestly relieved. I felt much more in control, and it went super smooth :)

Ask for anti nausea medication before wmtpm nauseous. when you can feel a little pain and they are consistent in timing, ask. You do not want to be throwing up during labor, and it is common. 
Also, if you can get up and move, do. It's helpful. Gravity is helpful.

Anything you can do to get yourself to dialate before you go in will help the process not be still long. Sex is always a good one. Evening primrose might help. Walking and exercise if you can. Good luck.

When did they tell you the date of your induction? How far along were you when they told you? My baby is IUGR and in the 10th percentile and they are talking about inducing me but havent scheduled it yet...
