Prenatals???

Has anyone been on prenatals and then, after you got pregnant, they started to bother your stomach? I’m super constipated when I take them now and I have a lot of pain with it but this was never a problem before I got pregnant. I am 4w5d so still very early. I am on one a day prenatals now. If this has happened to anyone else, what did you switch to or do that helped. I’m already taking mirilax and Colace to help with the constipation.

Odds are good it’s the pregnancy hormones that are making you constipated and not the prenatals, but if you want to switch then by all means do so

Okay so I started off with the spring valley gummies from Walmart. Went through 2 bottles. I went to the store to buy more because I was on my last night of them and they were out of spring valley so I got vitafusion gummies. They said “gentle on tummy” on the outside. I’ve had a bowel movement EVERYDAY since taking them, where before I was going sometimes weeks without. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I switched to the honest brand because they’re food based and that helped me.

I take food based prenatals because they’re the easiest on the stomach for me. I find the artificial ingredients in other prenatals back me up, which sucks because I freaking love gummies lol. I also added a prenatal probiotic since I don’t eat yogurt and it has helped regulate bowel movements!

These are the ones I take and I haven't had morning sickness once this pregnancy and I'm 9 weeks and 2 days.
