Hi Guys! This is my nephew, Johnny, and he is a twin. He was born at 4.9 lbs and was fine at birth. His brother was 6.5lbs at birth and is home now. He is still in the NICU for fluctuating blood sugar levels. They had an IV in him and now they have a feeding tube. He must eat 40ml per feeding now. It’s been tough on my brother and sister in law. My heart breaks for them....

It’s been a week and three days. His levels are high and then dips. They are running test to see if there are any underlying issues. So far two test came back normal... his glucose level on the feeding tube is at 50...with the IV they have been at the 70 to 80 range...

They are frustrated and I am just reaching out to see if there are any similar stories to give them hope. Or if you have any other information that will help that would great too. Praying that he will get better soon and that he will be home soon to be reunited with his brother.
