Swollen penis?

So today my boyfriend told me he woke up to the left side of his 🍆 swollen which went down after a while. He usually masturbates oftenn (I’m away for right now/dif state) but he told me he hasn’t done it for a few days. He also says it feel heavier than usual . Does anybody know what it can be ?
