Could I have ovulated super late?

So I’m 8w4d according to my LMP but I had an ultrasound today as my last ultrasound they could only see the sac. At that time the sac measured 6w1d abdominal and 6w4d trans-vaginal. And only echos which is a bad sign. Today I measured 6w1d trans-vaginal as she found it difficult to find with abdominal. We tried for a heartbeat as we could see a flicker when we found the little something in there as well as a yoke. However we couldn’t hear or pick up the movements.... would it have been possible that I picked up the positive super early and had a super late ovulation? (6days before I missed my period). Has this happened to anyone else?
