Sore throat: Remedies???

Hey guys. I’ve been dealing with a really rough sore throat that’s been making it hard to breathe, and it hurts to swallow anything. Do you know of any at home remedies to help with the soreness and such?

Fall asleep with a cough drop tucked into your cheek. Only do this is you don’t move a lot. But it always helps me feel better the next day. You also might want to see a doctor if you haven’t already.

If it's hard to breathe, it's best to see a doctor. That's pretty extreme and verging on dangerous.
As for home remedies, gargling with salt water (1/2-1tsp fine sea salt to 8oz warm water) tea with honey (or just a spoonful of honey alone) and marshmallows are my go-tos.

Warm drinks, cold or icy drinks can irritate it more. Marshmallows are good. It sounds like you have an infection so go see a doctor asap
