I need to talk and I figured this would be a good place to do it. I had my son on 4/25/18. I am RH negative and he has a positive blood factor. My blood was trying to kill him. His jaundice levels went up to a 22 before they transferred him to a hospital with a higher nicu. After 4 days there his level was at a 13.3 and they let him go home. I wad finally able to hold my baby boy. I had him home for a week and the Dr wanted his levels retested. Low and behold it was back up to a 19 and last night he had to be re-admitted and put back under the lights. In getting really depressed from not being able to hold my boy💔 I was breastfeeding him and my mom had the idea that that was what was keeping him sick so I told the hospital to try formula for 24 hrs to see if that was the case( although the hospital and Dr says its not) and wouldn't you know his levels went from a 19 to a 16 in less than 8 hours. I miss my boy💙😭 thanks for reading if you made it this far💔
