August as a name???

Question

Have any of you August mom's considered using the word August as a name? I'm having my second baby boy and choosing a boy's name was hard enough the first time! ( my first son's name is Sage) i like the name August but I'm not crazy about it. I'm just at a loss for a boy's name!!!

We are naming our son Augustus since he's due in August and my husband and I met at Saint Augustine's College.

My sisters using August as a middle name for her girl that’s due in June lol. I told her it was a boy name but she’s still using it

Love this name for a little boy. I had it at the top of my list for a boy but turns 9ut we're having a girl but I still think it's a beautiful name, gutted I can't use it myself 😂

We are using it as a middle name if it’s a boy. But it’s my husband’s middle name (and it’s a family name), and we had decided before we got married that it’d be our son’s middle name, so well before we knew we be having a child in August

We named our girl dog August and I love the name. I wish I saved it for a baby name! She was born in July but we chose August because that’s when we picked her out. I personally like boy names for girls which is why we chose it for a girl. Anyways,  It’s a great name for a boy but I agree you have to love it! 😊
