only hard at top of belly?

I am only hard at the top part of my belly. I'm 36w1d and the bottom part below my belly button is still soft and kinda hangs 😞 why is this? is baby really high up??

Because that’s where baby’s bum is and most of the bulk of baby, if you have any additional abdominal fat (which is totally normal, we store fat during pregnancy in order to help fuel us while we breastfeed) it will be below the baby and feel much softer
