I’ve always absolutely cringed when my sad & step mom called each other that & now that I’m older all my friends call their spouses that &a; that shit is so ANNOYING! I’m sorry to offend, I don’t mean to, but I can’t STAND it!!

I have a fiancé and I hate using that word so I just use hubby.

I always call my husband the Hubby. So does pretty much every other married woman I know. I’ve never heard any married man call his wife ‘wifey’ though, I’ve only ever heard that used when girls talk about their best friends 🤔 I’m in UK though, so don’t know if that makes a difference.
