so i'm 13 turning 14 soon and i'm just wondering... is it too early to have a relationship? as in romantic relationship

there's someone i like and i have the feeling he might like me but idk bc he sorta acts similar around all girls. idk whether to tell him or not bc if he rejects me word will get around school and it will be super embarrassing. i haven't told my friends yet either bc i still don't know if i can trust them 100% bc they're new friends at a school i've only been at for a bit but we are quite close. what should i do? tell my friends and the person i like? just tell my friends? hide it from my friends and tell my crush? just keep it the same? i rlly like him and i'd want to date him 😓 pls help 🙃
