Hair color???

Alright ladies I need your help. I got some mint semi permanent hair dye keep in mind I am not a hair stylist. I wanted to do either streaks or dye the tips. My boyfriend said he'd prefer streaks. But I'm not sure i like either. Another thing is my hair is multiple colors at the roots. (I'll insert picture) but I wanted to know your guys opinions on which I should do!

Ended up doing it think I'm gonna have my neighbor (who's a hair stylist) fix it up a bit and add more :)

I'm a hairstylist...so obviously my advice is you should go to a salon. it's a lot cheaper to pay for something to be done right than it is to correct something that went wrong ☺️

I wouldn't dye your hair any color, from the looks of your pictures you have a lot of damage and breakage. You might wanna take care of that before you start dying again!

Did you by chance get the mint color from Sally's? If, so I'd do the tips as it will be something that will have to be redone about once a week to maintain the color and coloring tips by yourself is a bit easier than redoing the streaks. Plus, with the mint, it'll look more intentionally colored if doing the tips than just greenish highlights.
