I was having brown spotting around 5w3d that turned into bright red blood the next day. I immediately put myself on bed rest. The red bleeding subsided into light brown spotting again. The doctor called it a subchorionic hemorrhage and that he sees them fairly common. I asked if my placenta was attached and he verified it was. He told me that it doesn’t matter what I do - if I take it easy or carry on regularly with life - my pregnancy will progress if it’s meant to. Overall I am happy, but still a little nervous. I’ve had 3 miscarriages before and we want this baby so much!
