How long??

I started my depo shot 3 years ago && I just recently stop getting them. My last shot was 5 months ago. How long will it take to get pregnant?

Hi, I stopped had my last depo 20th June last year.. By jan this year my periods had returned to normal I was on the depo for almost 4 years (3years 10months to be exact) and I conceived in March this year, but sadly lost the pregancy last month :( depo could have played a part in this but I don't 100% fully believe that the dpi made me lose my baby. I would wait 12-18 months like is recommended just so you know it's properly out of your system :)

Honestly - it could be a few months or as long as a year. It depends on how quickly you start getting regular periods.
