First Gynaecologist Visit
So I only just recently found out that it’s recommended that girls first visit the gynaecologist between ages 13-15 and that we should have our first Pap smear by age 21. Well I’m 22 and only discovered this via google because my friends were talking about STIs.
I’m quite a late bloomer as I’ve only just started my first relationships with someone. We haven’t had sex yet, but I’m sure that’s gonna happen eventually. I’ve already got enough to worry about in terms of being a virgin, so I wanna be prepared when it comes to being aware of my personal sexual health.
Anyway, so I’ve made a doctors appointment in order to get a referral for a gynaecologist visit. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should ask my doctor first (about visiting the gynaecologist) and then what to actually ask the gynaecologist?
Please help! I’m stressing!
